About Us
Faith-Hope & Love Christian Church
WE BELIEVE
GOD
We believe that there is only one magnificent loving God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

God the Father - God is the great Creator of the universe. Sin cannot ever exist in Him. He is sovereign, all powerful, all knowing and all present. God is Love and wishes that no man perishes but have eternal life through the acceptance of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

God the Son, Jesus - Jesus was God in the flesh. He is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life as He walked among men, demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech. Jesus became poor in His spiritual status becoming a man by being born of a virgin, so that we could become rich in our spiritual status and receive abundant life here as well as in heaven. His life was the most valuable gift given to mankind which served as the final perfect sacrifice to redeem us from sin and reconcile us to God the Father.
Jesus, the Son of God, came to give us life and life more abundantly, He died to give us victory over sin and death and He was resurrected to be our Mediator with the Father. By His stripes we are healed, delivered and set free. Jesus will return one day and those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment. However, He’s alive today and seated at the right hand of God making intercession for us. As promised, He sent back to us a very powerful and necessary gift from God in the form of, The Holy Spirit (John1:1,14; Luke 1:26-38; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 6:19; Romans 3:24; Matthew 28:6; Hebrews 8:1;Hebrews 7:25; Acts 1:11; Luke 21:27).

God the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit. Just as He hovered over the darkness of the waters in the beginning to bring forth marvelous light, He hovers over the darkness of mankind to bring forth the same. This is how mere men were able to write the Holy Bible. The Holy Spirit convicts persons of sin, righteousness and judgment as well exalts Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. When we receive salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, our spirits become new creations in Christ Jesus because He conform us into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Without Him we would not know Christ, we could not live Christ-like nor could we evangelize, operate in our gifts and serve others as Jesus commanded. The Holy Spirit makes His permanent residence in the believer at the point of salvation in order to make all of this and more possible (Acts 5:3,4; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 5:18; Ephesians 4:30).
HUMANKIND

We believe that mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. We were placed a little lower than the angels. We were given dominion over everything on earth. Through disobedience, selfishness, lust and greed we lost our position as well as our close, intimate relationship with God. However, we were graciously reconciled to our Father through the redemptive plan of salvation through the sacrifice of Gods one and only Son, Jesus Christ. Now we are sons of God and co-heirs with Jesus (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23,5:8,8:1; John 3:16-19,5:24; Ephesians 2:8-10).
THE BIBLE

We believe in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. We believe that God is the author of the Bible. The BIBLE is mankind Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. We believe that man was divinely inspired by God to write all 66 books of the Old Testament (39 books) and the New Testament (27 books). The scriptures are inerrant and infallible in their original manuscript. The Bible is our final authority on all matters. If the Bible says it, that settles it, do it (John 1:1; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; John 10:35; Matthew 5:18).
SALVATION
We believe that God will is for no man to perish. He desires that all men receive salvation, which essential reconcile man back to fellowship with Him. The only way this can be accomplished is by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Jesus as Lord with the mouth and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. This act of faith brings forth the result in the regeneration of the spirit man by the Holy Spirit. Once saved you should repent and be baptized. Repent basically means to do a 180 degree turn and go the opposite direction. In other words, turn from darkness to light or turn from sin to Jesus Christ. Baptism basically means complete immersion of the body to represent the burial of the old man and the resurrection of the new man. For by grace we are saved through faith. Faith is trusting Jesus Christ, not yourself and your deeds, for salvation. Knowing in your heart of heart that you can’t add anything to the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. Salvation is the free gift of eternal life for accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior (2 Peter 3:9; Romans 10:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Acts 2:38; John 1:29-33; Ephesians 2:8).
STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the entire bible. We believe that it is the final authority on all matters. If the bible states it; that settles it, let’s do it and move on.
